BIML has published four major pieces of work on Machine Learning Security.

My last column focused on Building Security Into Software for darkreading ran from June 2020 to January 2024.  I am very bad at retirement.

Before “retiring” in 2019, I was pleased to write a security opinion column for SearchSecurity and other publications for eleven years. My security column started life in print at CMP in IT Architect and Network magazines and was originally called “[In]security.” That was way back in October 2004. The column then transitioned into Web content for darkreading.com, veered left for a stint at informIT, and ended with a home at SearchSecurity.

I was founding editor of the Building Security In department of IEEE Security & Privacy magazine. I believe this magazine is the best periodical in security, with both scientific accuracy, cutting edge technology, and real world relevance. I am disappointed that it is only available in digital format.

See my listing of peer-reviewed scientific publications elsewhere.
