I have been actively collecting art (mostly paintings) for many years. I got my start when my ex-wife Amy’s step-dad, a major collector of American art,  began to give us pictures as gifts after we were married in 1990. I’m hugely grateful to Kic for planting the seed of what has become a nice collection. Sadly, a portion of the collection left when Amy moved out, but collection continues apace.
I am particularly keen on collecting the work of artists I know.
