I have been actively collecting art (mostly paintings) for many years. I got my start when my ex-wife’s step-dad, a major collector of American art,  began to give us pictures as gifts starting in 1990. I’m hugely grateful to Kic for planting the seed of what has become a nice collection. Though a portion of the collection disappeared during divorce dissolution, the collection is growing again with Romey as a curator.
I am particularly keen on collecting the work of artists I know.
